jason mraz has the best ideas.

Man, he's so articulate.  Love reading his blog.  Here are a few of his musings from his latest entry--enjoy!

Everything is perfect.
Everything is fine.
The rules of life are made up.

The rules only exist in your mind.
Of course there may be courtesies

And closures and laws to abide,
But the zeal with which you play

Relies on where YOU draw the line.

That pursuit is ongoing by the way, as is the effort to sustain it. The secret to all success is to remain in the flow.

The obvious: Don’t swim against the current. See where the river wants to take you. Be relaxed and happy that you’re awake on the journey.

And: be neither too relaxed where you don’t swim at all.Otherwise, the river will almost certainly kill you.

And definitely don’t think you can swim faster than the current: don’t be a “try-hard.” This is a term I heard used in the open-mic circuit for those who are trying so hard to make it they forget to enjoy it. The stress and the need for perfection is a distraction from the beauty, uncertainty, and finality of every moment. It’s never about the destination anyway. It’s about the brave lifestyle one leads in getting there.

Besides, you want to know what happens when you DO get there? You do what everyone else does: The laundry.

Take time to enjoy the ride.

Beyond the art of travel I am here to play music, to craft and create it. But more importantly, I am here to play. Life is the game we make up. Everyone has his or her own rules. For some people it’s to make the most money. For others, it’s about constantly giving it all away. For me, I like to leave space for the unknown – enough to be continuously surprised yet still know when to send flowers.

To be unprepared is to have faith and to do it confidently is to know we are all connected.

Wat a way to describe the journey of life in terms of river..awesome...its like my own experience of life penned down by his beautifully crated words and imagination.

The words have made me wiser.
