PR.

you know,
it's ridiculously simple to lose your perspective on life.
too easy to let your moral compass get demagnitized.
like letting your hotel room card get too close to your cell phone.

i have the flu. i took a bath. i realized i wanted to read old diaries for boredom's sake.
i ended up having a life epiphany.
isn't it funny how things work out when you're not trying to force them to?

i have accomplished a lot. i am not even 23 yet. i need nothing more than i have in my life right now to be happy. i have an amazing best friend who keeps getting better every single day and who supports me in that quiet, behind the scenes way. other people may not see it, but we do, and that's all that matters. it feels incredible to actually trust someone with my hopes and dreams and truly know they aren't going to dash them. i have huge trust issues...and i actually have managed to trust someone. major moment for me. :)

it's so easy to get caught up in what's happening in the day to day of everything and forget what you've experienced, for better or worse, in the past. this is why history repeats itself over and over again. it's time to relax, breathe, and let my security blanket of anxiety go. i can feel myself growing and becoming more of the person i want to be and was made to be.

having the flu lead me to this decision. and i got it from someone on the swim team possibly. and the swim team gave me my best friend. and i was here to meet my best friend because i decided to stay for music the extra two years in school. and i decided to stay because i was passionate about something and made a spur of the moment decision to follow my dreams.

my dreams gave me the flu.
and so it goes with everything in life, yes?

yes.
that is my new favorite word.
